I am SUPER-BAM-POW pleased to announce that two of my pieces, Cookie Jar No. 5 and KRR-PTZ! Jar, have been chosen for the Ink and Clay 45: The Art of Type virtual exhibition presented by the Kellogg University Art Gallery at Cal Poly Pomona, in celebration of the exhibit’s 45th Sapphire Anniversary. Although initially a virtual experience, there will also be a physical exhibition of these artworks in Fall 2022.
Ninety pieces were selected from 252 submissions. Another of my artworks, BOING! Wall Plaque, has been waitlisted, and may be included later if space allows.
This year the jurors include: Ink-Juror, artist and printmaker, Dave Lefner; Clay-Juror, artist and former professor, Keiko Fukazawa; and Curatorial-Juror, Founder of Shoebox Projects and publisher of Art and Cake, Kristine Schomaker. Curator of the Kellogg and Huntley Galleries, Michele Cairella Fillmore, curates the final recommended entries and determines feasibility and design of the exhibition space.
This is the 3rd consecutive Ink and Clay exhibition in which my work will be featured!
